Division D non-daily designer of the year

Division D: Non-daily designer of the year

Congratulations to first-place winner Aaron Hoffman of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago! Aaron wins $1,000 from the Society for News Design.

Honorable Mention: Rob Byrd of Coastal Carolina University.

Submit a portfolio with up to 10 examples of your work. Online design may be included. For those design examples, include a piece of paper with a URL that is connected to a publication.

The portfolio is one entry. Parts of the portfolio may be entered in other categories. It may also contain work that was published during an internship. In this category only, all work must have been done by a single designer.

The prize: $1,000 to use toward a trip to the SND annual workshop in Buenos Aires in September. Or if you can't make the trip, please spend the money as you please.

This division is for designers working at student newspapers published three or fewer times a week, whether operated by the university or as a separate corporation.
