The Missouri School of Journalism began the first Society for News Design student affiliate, and it's still going strong.
The group today is dedicated to educating student designers and encouraging their enthusiasm.
Our primary task each year is to host the College News Design Contest. The April 2009 event is the 21st annual contest.
We meet regularly during the school year to critique each other's work, prepare for job hunting, learn from guest speakers and plan trips to seminars. Please e-mail faculty adviser Joy Mayer if you'd like to be added to our mailing list.
